1) Promoter

The “Promoter” is Thane Canada Inc., whose registered office is 5255 Orbitor Dr., Suite 501, Mississauga, Ontario, L4W 5M6, Canada.

2) Who May Enter

Win a $200 Cleaning Giveaway (“Giveaway”) is open only to legal residents of Canada, excluding Quebec, who have reached age of majority in their province/territory at time of entry, except employees of the Promoter and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the Giveaway. Void where prohibited by law.

3) How to Enter

The Giveaway begins on May 2, 2022, at 12:00pm EDT and ends on May 31, 2022, at 11:59pm EDT (“Draw Period”). No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason. Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.

You will be automatically entered into the Giveaway when you purchase any one of these products below during the Draw Period from Thane Canada websites: H2O X5, H2O HD, H2O SteamFX Pro and H2O e3 Cleaning System. You can also enter the Giveaway by filling out the form within this page or by registering your email in our promotional pop-up, no purchase necessary.

 4) Prizes

The prizes ais as follows:

  • One (1) $200 Cash Prize

The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prize is not transferable. Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

5) Odds of Winning

The actual odds of winning will depend upon the actual number of entries received for this Giveaway. There is one prize available to be won for the prize: $200 Cash.

6) Random Selection & Skill-Testing Question

Entrants must answer, without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, the mathematical skill-testing question provided by the Promoter at the time of entry. The “Winner” will be chosen at random, by software among those entrants who have correctly answered the skill testing question during the Draw Period. The Winner will be notified of the prize by June 01, 2022 by 11:59pm EDT.

Winner is subject to verification by Promoter. Promoter’s decisions are final and binding in all matters related to the administration, operation, selection of the Winner and other matters related to the Giveaway.

 7) Redeeming Your Prize

The Winner will be selected on June 01, 2022 and will be contacted by email by the Promotor. If the Winner cannot be notified or contacted for whatever reason, or if the Winner does not claim the prize within the two (2) day period specified above, Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the Winner. The Promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with the Giveaway.

8) Publicity and Consent

Winner consents to Promoter’s use of their name, photograph and/or likeness, voice, and statements made by or attributed to them, in perpetuity, in any and all media now known or hereafter developed (including, without limitation, print, broadcast and Internet), for all legitimate business purposes including advertising and promotional activities without further consent or additional compensation, unless prohibited by law, and hereby waives any and all moral rights with respect to the same. Winner further agrees to execute any and all documents requested by Promoter to convey such rights to own all the results thereof. Any personal data relating to the Winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without prior consent.

10) Miscellaneous Conditions.

By participating in this Giveaway, entrants agree to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules, which shall be final and binding with respect to all issues relating to this Giveaway. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have complied with all of the conditions contained in these Official Rules.

If, for any reason, the Giveaway is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond Promoter’s control, Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, and as permitted by law, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Giveaway. Persons who have not complied with these Official Rules, or found tampering with or abusing any aspect of this Giveaway, or whom Promoter believes to be causing malfunction, error, disruption or damage, will be disqualified. Promoter reserves the right to correct any typographical, printing, computer programming or operator errors. Promoter assumes no liability for damage caused to any entrant’s or any other person’s/entity’s computer device hardware, software or communications network, regardless of cause.

If Promoter is required by applicable federal, provincial or municipal law, regulation or ordinance, or by action of an administrative agency, to cease offering the Giveaway in any jurisdiction, Promoter reserves the right to (i) terminate the Giveaway in such jurisdiction in its entirety, and/or (ii) cancel and remove from participation in the Giveaway, the entry of any entrant residing in such jurisdiction, without penalty and without obligation to the affected entrant.

11) Privacy Policy

When entrants enter this Giveaway, Promoter may collect their names, addresses, phone numbers and e-mail addresses. Promoter will use this information to administer entrants’ participation in the Giveaway. By entering the Giveaway, entrants explicitly provide consent for the use of their personal information in this manner. At the time entrants enter the Giveaway, Promoter may ask their permission to send them future marketing information from Promoter. If entrants wish to later opt-out of these emails, they can do so by checking the unsubscribe button on the email. This Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to the Promoter and not to any other party. 12) Dispute Resolution/Damages

By entering the Giveaway, entrants agree that any and all disputes, claims, actions and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Giveaway and all issues and questions concerning the validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction sitting in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, without regard for conflicts of law doctrine.

For certainty, this Giveaway is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering the Giveaway and under no circumstances will entrants seek or be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrants hereby waive all rights to claim, punitive, incidental or consequential damages and any other damages other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, including any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased, and in no event attorneys' fees or costs. Some jurisdictions may not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above may not apply to all entrants.
